HISTORY

In order to bring the most powerful lice removal options to the Jacksonville area, in 2012 Mandy Ottesen founded Fresh Heads, a science and research-based lice treatment center.

Since then, Fresh Heads has become a world-wide leader in lice removal, winning the Lice Clinics of America awards for most treatments provided world-wide in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Fresh Heads was also awarded ‘Clinic of the Year’ and the Better Business Bureau’s first ever Torch Award for Ethics in Business.Because of its popularity and success the company expanded into Orlando, Florida, and Savannah, Georgia in 2017. Fresh Heads’ secret weapon in the battle against lice is the revolutionary AirAllé® machine. This FDA-cleared device uses heated air, not toxic chemicals, to get rid of head lice. In as little as one hour, our patients will leave lice-free. In the unlikely event of a treatment failure, we will re-treat you at no cost.

When your child comes home with head lice, there’s no time to waste. Lice are contagious and easily spread. You can make an appointment at one of our clinics quickly, usually on the same day. We also have excellent tools for the do-it-yourselfer, if that is what you prefer. We want to help you take care of the head lice problem quickly and painlessly. 60-day Lice Re-Treatment Policy

Every Fresh Heads AirAllé service comes with a 60-day-policy, which includes one optional recheck during your policy period. In the event that your child is re-exposed to head lice and that re-infestation occurs during this 60-day period, we will retreat for free (all siblings, parents or others living in the household must be head-checked by a Fresh Heads Technician for policy to be valid). You can extend this fabulous service through our Fresh Heads Lifetime Protection Plan.

The Fresh Heads Comb Out
30-Day Lice Re-Treatment Policy

Every Fresh Heads Comb Out service comes with a 30-day-policy, which includes one required recheck 10-days after your initial treatment.In the event that your child is re-exposed to head lice and that re-infestation occurs during this 30-day period, we will retreat for free (all siblings, parents or others living in the household must be head-checked by a Fresh Heads Technician for policy to be valid). You can extend this service through our Fresh Heads Lifetime Protection Plan.
